Retail Return Policy – Rules of Engravement

Firearms, NFA Items, and Ammunition

All sales of firearms, NFA items (such as silencers and short-barrel rifles), and ammunition are final. No returns or refunds will be accepted.

If you experience any issues with your firearm or NFA item, please refer to the Manufacturer’s Warranty for assistance. If needed, Rules of Engravement will gladly help facilitate the return or repair process with the manufacturer.


Non-Firearm and Non-Ammunition Items

  • The return period for non-firearm and non-ammunition items is fourteen (14) days.
  • All returns must be accompanied by the original receipt and are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
  • Refunds will be provided in the same tender as the original sale.

In the event the product is defective, please refer to the Manufacturer’s Warranty for resolution. Returns will be processed at management’s discretion.


Non-Refundable Items

The following items and services are non-refundable:

  1. Laser Engravings
  2. Layaway Payments
  3. Special Orders, including custom orders and pre-orders.

Deposits, whether full or partial, are also non-refundable unless Rules of Engravement cannot fulfill the order within a 12-month period from the date of purchase.


Completed Work Orders

Completed work orders must be picked up within 24 hours of receiving a completion notification. Any work not picked up within this timeframe will incur a $10 per item, per day fee.


Transfers and Firearms Not Picked Up

  • Firearms transfers or other firearms left unclaimed for more than 60 days will be considered surrendered to Rules of Engravement for storage restitution.
  • For FDLE non-approvals or decision pendings, a 50% restocking fee will apply.
